Astra Polymers is an ISO 9001:2000 certified Saudi Arabian company which was established in 1993 to meet the demands of the plastics and petrochemical industry.
Astra Polymer is a market leader in the region for producing high-quality masterbatch, dust-free additives and custom-made thermoplastic compounds plus liquid or paste colorants for polymer manufacturing, polymer converting and plastics processing industries.
To date, we own and operate two factories: one fully automated modern factory located in the 2nd industrial city of Dammam in Saudi Arabia and the second is a plant that was set up in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, U.A.E to mainly cater to customers in the UAE in addition to serving other customers in the region and beyond. A third facility is scheduled to open in late 2011 in Petro Rabigh on the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia to handle the growing market demand locally and abroad.
In addition, we have acquired 100% of the shares in a Turkish polymer masterbatch and additives producer to expand our reach to Turkey and neighboring markets.
